Restrained and elegant, the wine shows white flesh nectarine, green pear and jasmine notes on the nose, followed by a lively palate displaying juicy fruit flavours with a mouth-watering finish. At its best: now to 2026.

Great to see that blush of copper colour in the glass, indicating a touch of skin contact (lending texture and weight to the wine). This is a ripper gris; it delivers the expected perfume of brown pear, sweet spice, cinnamon and green almond, with similar flavours, but things are all elevated here, intense and yet retains an immense refreshment factor. For those seeking classic gris, it has all the touchstones, and for those after something with a bit of X-factor, that too. Kudos for this styling.
